Horror

Plot: A popular college student graciously accepts a social outcast's online friend request, but soon finds herself fighting a demonic presence that wants to make her lonely by killing her closest friends.
Review: The character presentation was nice, we all relate to the students by nature mostly because wehave been there once – or twice, like Emilie Autumn would say- the scene with the “cute kitty video” was… unexpected. The fact that Laura decides to give friendship to the outcast, is a bit heartwarming alas it really expectable for it to end up badly, sadly. From the start we can see Marina is missing a bolt or 30 which is kind of a bad thing since it makes her character predictable as the nut job. The acting in general is quite good; I felt the bond between Laura and Marina quite close and convincingly. Sometimes the obsession is one of the worst things to deal with but even more when coupled to dark rituals. It progresses a bit slow for my taste though in a stable shape. It is not the kind of movie I’d pass on to the people who are easily scared even of silly things like the cat. All in all it is a good movie and would re-watch it now and then. -Sophia Cynthia Cabral
