The theme of this song and the dedication to soldiers with PTSD struck a chord. I have never served, but have suffered post concussion system daily for many years. I cannot imagine adding the mental and physical toll of war to my problem. We’re All Gonna Die (Never Give Up) is a great mantra and you have to have the sense of humor to say 'we're all gonna die'. Their influences are a who's who of bands I love, from Pat Travers/Foghat to Iron Maiden and Slipknot. You can hear the passion in every Berdoo song I've listened to. You gotta have passion and talent to be doing this since the 80's. Within this song my mind hears the likes of Savatage and Motorhead. JC's lyrics are written well and the music and musicianship are well crafted, melodic and tight. By stating I hear influences, by no means am I saying Berdoo is imitating any band. Their music is a driving force and easily stands alone. I wish them the best in all future endeavors... especially those that support our troops! -Rrockhopper
