Float appears to be a low budget fan film based on Stephen King's It, even featuring the hideous and deadly clown, Pennywise. This was poorly photographed even though it reflects a lot of attention to detail. The film lasts less than a half hour and once it gets into horror overdrive mode, it feels like a constant living nightmare that will frighten those who scare easily but I doubt it will scare those of us who know reality from fiction. I have seen many fan films based on well-established characters that are written and produced well but this one falls short in many ways. The teens' acting skills in this film need a little work but it may be the start of a good future for them if they pursue it and improve. One thing I must point out is that the arts are always at the mercy of emotion and what appeals to an individual may not appeal to another. I must strongly state that people should experience a film (or music or other art forms) on their own rather than be swayed by a review such as this one. -Damien Lee Thorr
