Poem: "Can't Adhere" by Jerry Langdon

Can't Adhere
© Jerry Langdon 2023

I'm so broken the dust flies away.
No shards to cause any pain.
Nothing to put together again.
The winds blow me away
Until only memories remain.
Atoms no longer cohere.
Existence can't adhere.
So what keeps me here?
Broken; I disappear.
