CD Review: CEREMONIA La Existencia Humana Debe Ser Un Error

CEREMONIA
La Existencia Humana Debe Ser Un Error (Human Existence Must Be a Mistake)
LCRecords (October 31, 2015)
This is a four track album with three tracks totaling over twelve minutes each, and quickly setting the tone for the wicked ride of death metal vocals over doom metal sweeping over multi-varied tempo musical variations. Each song sets up the exploration of the morbid negativity that exists in everyone, regardless of their personal upbeat expressionism. The music and lyrics provide a deep probing into the psyche. The band finally clicks after many line-up changes, achieving a quality production for the audience to experience this excessive sadness. One must also note an interesting tempo change in the later portion of the first track, near the eight minute mark. To sum up this incredible work, think Pink Floyd goes doom with lyrics of exposing long buried wounds, shredding the masks of false happiness and showing the wretchedness which is life itself. 9.5/10 -Baron Craze
