Plot: When one of the seven identical sisters is missing in a world where you can only have one child due to overpopulation and depleting resources, the rest of the sisters plan how to find out their missing sibling while avoiding the law and government.
Review: The premise sounds interesting and quite relatable made me anxious to see it whole from the start; the fact that the sisters share everything to preserve themselves by being Karen once a day each is a good idea.
The movie shows us what true love from a grandfather does; even while breaking the law he decides to keep all of the seven girls which I can really empathize with.
One of the best things is that each of the siblings, named each by each day of the week has a definite personality, for example Saturday seems to be the heavy drinker that is a bit reckless while Friday on the other hand seems to be the smartest sister in the group.
The acting is impressive; one single actress playing 7 characters is something I am gladly surprised with which is a strong good point of the movie, It is a bit slow for my taste but I feel the movie itself is solid even from start.
In general I’d have to say this movie blew my mind in a good way, more specifically regarding the scene where their grandfather says “what happens to one of you happens to all” after seeing a badly injured Thursday as he proceeds to work on using Monday as an example of the fact their lives are intertwined regardless of them wanting it or not.
The fight scene was something I didn’t saw coming really, alas seems only 2 of the sisters are good at hand to hand combat thought. -Sophia Cynthia Cabral
