Poem: 'You Are Silence' by Andy Horry

You Are Silence

You aren’t the breath, you are the silence in between the breath.
Allow the breath to do it’s thing, whilst remaining aware that it isn’t you.
There’s nothing to escape from because silence is indestructible and ever-present.
Allow yourself to slow down and be at peace with your self.
There’s no rush to do anything. Trust that whatever needs to be done will be taken care of when you ground yourself in the silence that you are.
Now watch the breath as if you were watching a sun set from a cabin in the woods.
Your cabin is silent and you can see that the sunrise isn’t you, yet you observe it’s beauty, which compliments the moment as you sit silently in your cabin.
