Poem: "Dystopia / Utopia" By James Kenneth Blaylock

Dystopia / Utopia
By James Kenneth Blaylock, 8-6-18

cutting through the dystopia with a rusty
straight razor, because that's the only way

to sever oneself from such nightmarish situations, nevermind, prior fascination

shining neon lights on those mouthy demons,
hell isn't allowed to have us today, disjointed

disconnecting those artificial life restraints,
instead plugging into a supportive utopia...
