A while ago I was sent ''Sarcasm from the Aftermath and Rotten Awareness'' the 2020 EP by Faith And Joy. I didn’t get a chance to listen to it right away, but when I DID finally listen to it, I was glad it was sent to me. This is some pure grinding awesomeness!
Music wise this is pure underground grindcore at its finest. Low and murky guitar tones mixed with tight and vicious drumming is always something to be desired. But that is not all that this EP has to offer. For me, personally, the vocals are what grab me on this one. Even more so when it comes to the chaos of the highs. There is just enough mania and intensity in the vocals to really drive this one home, even though it is so so short. But hey... just listen to it more than once!
Located in Medellin, Colombia, this band consists of Marcelo Gomez, Mr. Sheng, Elias Navarrete, and Buddy G. This particular EP is available on vinyl, CD, and digital download.
