Poem: Untitled by Robert McDermott

Untitled
Robert McDermott

let's dance at the beach tonight
peruse the luminous stars

whisper divine secrets to the moon

caress in the pulse of the waves
savor the essence of salt on our lips

lay down and embrace
succumb to our bodies primeval desires
drift off into a slumber
dream the same dream

until the the soft amber mist of the sun slowly awakens us
