It's nice to meet this Hellenic entity. The more I hear the new generation of bands recording black metal albums, the more I find childish copycats without soul. This band is definitely different. They take the obvious influences from European black metal (mainly the North), mixing them with death metal elements and solid guitar arrangements. The result is quite complex, melodic, genuine and deadly. I liked it because the essence of the black metal genre remains intact (whatever it means) and these songs deliver dense atmospheres with a peculiar rotten odor. Actually, I’m impressed because these guys forged a very mature debut album and didn’t test the stuff with low-fi demos. They know what they want. It’s a debut album that smells of putrefaction and the most psychotic side of black metal. Of course it’s recommended if you want to know about new bands that are the next to become hidden jewels in underground metal. For now, keep an eye on these Greek demons, as they will vomit more obscure shit in the near future. Support! -Victor Varas
