Death Metal is not always about slaughtering people with explicit content. Death Metal is about death, dying and violence. This song is about what how the world has been living for years and even centuries. It's about people who lost their families in wars and because of wars. It's a sort of curse devastating your soul after losing people you used to cherish but not anymore since they passed away. It's about your own pain, not about making someone suffer. This time it's about the reality some of us have lived, telling us we must protect ourselves and our families. Musically it reminds me of the bands I like (Vimic, Cannibal Corpse), but I'm not used to these lyrics in death metal. But once again, death metal is about death, the dying and the dead. It's not out of the musical concept of DM. It's a serious message about being pissed about stupid pointless wars. I wish to thank the band for caring so much about it.
