Wishing for Shine

the sun didn’t want to rise today
and it tore us all asunder, wonder
what tomorrow will bring yet we’re
much too depressed to sing, binging
upon Netflix and recycled water it’s
a wonders that winter hasn’t froze ‘
our accounts into solid icebergs
but here we are wishing for shine
