Atop the stairs
Mesmerizing portrait
Captivated by the gaze
... of her violet eyes
Tonight she’s mine
Tonight she comes alive
Effervescent smile
Flirtatious by design
Awakening centuries of
passion
Burgeoning from canvas
Tonight she’s mine
Tonight she comes alive
Beauty emboldened
Fervor to which I succumb
My mistress so divine
Our worlds intertwined
Tonight she’s mine

Accept my hand
Liberate thyself from
the confines
Into the warmth of my arms
Come to me
Reveal thyself to my world
Don’t turn around
Nevermore look to the past
