A classmate that died, Laura, apparently communicates with her friends from “the other side” however it slowly escalates.
The spooky vibe is quite well done, especially since the movie happens from Blaire’s laptop’s screen the fact that it’s a video call between friends is quite an interesting turn for what I’m used to.
I wouldn’t call this one a bad movie, actually, I enjoyed although by moments some technical stuff like the police code for suicide or the screen share where suddenly Ken acts like he isn’t seeing Blaire’s screen kind of ruined it for me. The acting is quite good -the facial expressions are quite credible, like the part where the intruder puts their camera on- it’s an interesting film.
I recommend it to anyone who’s got no plans for a weekend and doesn’t mind spending about an hour and a half, it is worth it. -Sophia Cynthia Cabral
