Poem: "Beware The Crow" by Roberta Downing

Beware The Crow
By Roberta Downing, June 11, 2017

The crow stared into the window glass
And cawed thrice.
It cawed once to warn those inside
That death would soon arrive.
It cawed a second time to prepare the soul
That it was almost time to go.
It called again
As Death waltzed in.
Beware the cawing of the crow
For death will surely follow.
