Up all night leaning into 5am I happened to come upon potentially the shortest demo I came across this year. Demo 2024 by PUCK features two short tracks in under four minutes—but this does not stop it from being a nice little blast of heavy fuzz! You might need to listen to it two or three times in a row for it to really sink in—but with that said—after the second listen I can state that this is very much worth a view!
The guitar is heavy and the vocals are forward and driving. The percussion is well played and all in all the musicianship is “more than” decent.
I won’t harp on, as the time it would take me to explain the intricacies of the demo you’d be able to listen to it three times over. Just listen to this demo and let the sounds of the Indonesian underground grasp your eardrums in its clutches!
Again—pretty solid!
