This band has still got it after 30 years since the first demo, Limbonic Art paints portraits with its cosmic black metal aura about them. What I dig most about this now one-man band from Norway is the complete utter destruction LA leaves behind. Each song is more wretched than the next and all of them carry a weight about them. The vocals soar throughout and the drums and guitars leave you with total burning darkness. I have to say if you are new to Limbonic Art like myself you would check out their latest here like I have. Get a feel for its dark soundscapes and blistering wailing black metal guitars to top it off. The genre to me is always evolving and this latest album by LA is sincere proof of that. Old school and terrifying I would place this with old school fans of Satyricon, Immortal, and Emperor. My favorite track I would have to say is Deify Thy Master. Nearly perfect guitar playing along with barbaric drums on it. The exchanging of riffs here is just masterful. Not one to overlook, Limbonic Art may just be one of Norway's finest hidden gems out there today. -Daniel Ryan
