It is a touching movie from the start, where we know the struggles of Chiyo as a young girl in a world full of wolves, all alone against the unknown. The acting is impressive and the movie feels like a jump in time where we actually kind of can just immerse fully pretty much on the story. The fact that speaks of things we all know all too well, like kindness, evil, revenge, jealousy among others, it one of the best points in the movie. Sometimes what’s left unsaid, sometime what’s left undone is what marks a difference. In a word where you can’t trust anyone but yourself pretty much, it’s a heartwarming story. From nothing, zero, nada, to a good life that’s Chiyo’s journey. -Sophia Cynthia Cabral
